Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho claims neither Paul Pogba or Alexis Sanchez deserved a place in Manchester United’s FA Cup starting lineup against Brighton.
Sanchez has scored just once in 10 appearances ever since he joined Manchester United from Arsenal, while Pogba was heavily criticised for his error-stricken performance and poor attitude against Sevilla in midweek having started from the bench.

The pair were both named among the substitutes for the quarter final tie at Old Trafford with manager Mourinho insisting the team he selected possessed more than enough quality to produce quality result against Chris Hughton’s team.
‘It’s just the team that I think is the best team to try to win the match,’ he said.
‘We don’t have a match in two days or a reason to think about another match.
‘This is the only match to think about and I’m playing the players that I believe deserve to play.’
