Mesut Ozil made Premier League history against Watford as he becomes the fastest player to reach 50 assists in Premier League history.

The German Messi assisted Shkodran Mustafi with a beautiful curled free-kick in the first half of Arsenal game on Sunday against Watford.

Mesut Ozil needed just 141 Premier League games to reach 50 Premier League assists, the Raven has established himself as on the most creative players in the world of football over recent seasons.

The record was previously held by Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, it took Cantona 143 games to make 50 Premier League assists.

Ryan Giggs holds the record for most Premier League assists, the former Wales footballer created 162 goals during his time at Old Trafford.

Mesut Ozil still has some way to reach the very top, after being the quickest to reach the 50.
