Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has been named the ‘best Belgian footballer playing abroad in 2017’.
Thibaut Courtois was the surprise winner of the award in 2016, but he couldn’t deny his countryman this time after series of exploits from Eden last season, resulting him winning the award as the Belgian player of the year.
Eden Hazard has been the star man for Belgium of late earning him Belgian captaincy, he’s hoping his form for country and club will win them silverware. When asked about playing for his country he said:
