According to The Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain has made Pep Guardiola their managerial target next summer and want him in place before the next summer begins.

Guardiola’s Manchester City contract expires next year and PSG are understood to be doing everything they can to hire the 47-year-old tiki-taka mastermind to succeed Manager Unai Emery.

The Mirror report that Guardiola is the club’s prime target to succeed manager Unai Emery.

 Paris Saint Germain demonstrated their financial muscle last summer when they signed Kylian Mbappe and Neymar for a world record fee, so pricing Pep Guardiola out of City won’t be a problem for the Parisians.

Pep Guardiola, seemed focused on the task at hand as the Premier League leaders are back in action against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

Guardiola on January transfer; The tactician stressed that he would only be interested in bringing in new signings that wouldn’t affect the overall harmony of the squad.

‘Whether players adapt depends on their quality and if they’re nice people,’ the City manager said.
