On a night of intense spectacle at the Emirates were Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard shun. Hazard left his mark on the game, winning and converting the penalty that cancelled out Jack Wilshere’s emphatic opener but Courtois outshone his compatriot with incredible saves illustrating just why Real Madrid are so desperate to sign them. Unfortunately, Alvaro Morata showed why a lot of critics still see him as a misfit at chelsea.

In a wonderful spectacle that finished 2-2 but could easily have gone either way, Morata spurned a great chance to open the scoring in the first half, but sent his effort wide when one-on-one with Petr Cech.
The Spaniard then blazed over at 1-1 before missing a brilliant opportunity to steal it at the death, just moments after Hector Bellerin scored a dramatic injury-time equaliser.

Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte, admits that it’s a pity that the Spaniard could not fire his team to victory with all his missed chances as he had a tough night.
